SITTING STYLES
Your senior portrait sitting involves craftsmanship and knowledge as well as time and materials. The sitting fee is based on the number of images you will choose from. You may decide which sitting best suits your needs. However, remember that the more poses taken, the better the selection of images from which you will choose your favorites!
CREATION FEE
The creation fee is a separate charge not applied towards your final portrait package. Previews are not included with the creation fee.

Thank you for choosing Peterson Studio as your senior portrait photographer. We're looking forward to creating a portrait for you to be proud of and enjoy for many years!
We offer sitting variations for you to select from. The differences in the sittings are the number of images you will have to select your favorites from, the style of the session, and the number of clothing changes included.
Clothing choice is important, variety is the best approach. Bring at least one more outfit to your sitting than you plan on wearing, and we will help you select the best outfits for you.
Suits, dresses, long sleeved shirts or blouses in medium color tones produce the best formal head and shoulder portraits. We often photograph seniors in a full-length pose, so include pants or skirts and shoes with your outfits.
SPECIAL NOTE ON EYEGLASSES
Glasses can pose a problem for portrait photographers. We cannot use the best lighting techniques because distortion and glare will not allow it. We highly recommend that you obtain a pair of matching empty frames from your eye care specialist in order to avoid problems.
BUDDY POSES
Photos with other subjects such as friends, pets, family members, etc. are welcomed. There is an additional sitting fee of $ 45.00, which includes an 8x10 portrait or equivalent.
We will furnish a yearbook print at no charge with a minimum order of $ 100.
Yearbook prints will not be sent to the school until the balance due is paid in full.
TERMS AND POLICIES
1. The sitting fee is due when you are photographed.
2. Laser printed previews will be made of each image for your convenience in choosing your favorite expressions and composition of your portrait package. If you wish to take your previews home, a $ 200 non-refundable deposit is required, which is applied to your order. This does not constitute a purchase of the previews. You must return the previews and place an order within four weeks or you may be billed at the rate of $ 20.00 per image.
3. A 50% deposit is due when you place your order. Pa sales tax is applicable.
4. Balance is due upon delivery of the finished portraits. No order leaves the studio without payment in full.
5. We will keep your portraits on file. If you should wish to order more prints at a later date, please contact us. However, it is much less expensive to order all the portraits you will need at the package rate with your original order.
ABOUT PREVIEWS
Your original previews are laser printed on plain paper designed to help you in making your final decisions on your portrait package images. They are loaned to you for your selection of final portrait prints and are not enhanced or retouched. High quality 4x5’s printed on long life photographic paper of your previews are available as detailed on bottom right of price quide. These images will not be retouched and enhanced, however all of your final portrait enlargements will be retouched and enhanced using the latest Photoshop techniques.
